Sadaqah Sacrifice

For projects where students choose a charitable sacrifice as the humanitarian pathway for supporting people and communities in need.

What if something we give becomes a meal on a table we may never see? Students investigate how a voluntary act of charity can move from sincere intention to organised, dignified support for people facing hardship.

The Problem

Communities may have limited access to nutritious food while students want to help but do not yet understand how charitable sacrifice can be organised responsibly.

Driving Question

How can voluntary Sadaqah become a responsible project that provides meaningful benefit to people facing hardship?

Possible Student Solution

Research Sadaqah and food insecurity; design a student campaign; calculate a realistic target; mobilise support; and connect the contribution to an appropriate Sadaqah sacrifice pathway.
