About Namibian Dates

Namibia’s dry climate and open agricultural landscape support date-palm cultivation in suitable growing areas. Fruit quality, colour, size, moisture and maturity can vary naturally by season, orchard conditions and harvest timing. Availability for wholesale or export depends on the harvest window and supplier stock at the time of enquiry.

Qurban Africa does not operate a date farm. We facilitate introductions between international buyers and suitable Namibian suppliers, and help coordinate commercial discussions around product type, packing and export logistics.

Product and Buyer Enquiries

Buyers may enquire about a range of formats. Final availability depends on supplier capability and the season:

Not every format is guaranteed for every shipment. Specifications are confirmed case by case.

Cultivation and Harvesting

Date palms produce fruit in seasonal cycles. Clusters ripen over time, and fruit may be harvested at different maturity stages according to the intended market. Orchard work, harvesting methods and post-harvest handling influence presentation and shelf life.

The orchard and nursery media below shows date palms, fruit clusters, field rows and early-stage cultivation supplied for this trade page. The images illustrate general cultivation and do not identify a specific farm unless expressly stated.

Sorting, Grading and Packing

Depending on the order, product preparation may include sorting, grading, weighing, quality inspection, retail or wholesale packing, and export carton preparation. Labelling, net weights and carton configurations are agreed with the buyer before shipment planning proceeds.
