Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

This policy explains how QASIP handles information supplied by Schools/Organisations and information generated through use of the QASIP portal.

1. Information we collect

QASIP may collect School/Organisation contact details, authorised coordinator details, group and programme information, project briefs, contribution records, uploaded project evidence, support communications, login/security records and QASIP page-visit information.

2. Why we use information

Information is used to operate QASIP, maintain School/Organisation accounts, review project submissions, record humanitarian contributions, provide implementation updates, issue available evidence or certificates, support users, maintain security and understand how QASIP pages are used.

3. Student information

Schools/Organisations should avoid submitting unnecessary personal or sensitive information about individual students. QASIP is designed primarily around group-level information rather than student-level personal profiles.

4. Visitor analytics

QASIP may record technical visit information such as page visited, date/time, IP address, referrer and browser/device information. Country or city/region information may be recorded when available. Location information can be approximate and is not treated as proof of a visitor’s exact physical location.

5. Files and project evidence

Uploaded photos, videos and documents are associated with the relevant School/Organisation and project. Access is restricted according to the QASIP account and administrative permissions.

6. Sharing and operational use

Information may be accessed by authorised Qurban Africa personnel and, where necessary for humanitarian implementation, relevant operational partners. QASIP does not make School/Organisation portal data publicly available merely because it is stored in the system.

7. Security and retention

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect QASIP records. Data may be retained as needed for programme administration, financial/audit records, project evidence, security and legal or operational requirements.

8. Contact and corrections

An authorised School/Organisation representative may contact Qurban Africa to request correction of inaccurate account information or raise a privacy question.
