  4. Beans or lentils — 1–2 kg
  5. Cooking oil — 1–5 litres
  6. Sugar — 2–5 kg
  7. Salt — 100–500 g
  8. Tea — 100 tea bags
  9. Coffee — 100–250 g
  10. Pasta or macaroni — 500 g–2 kg
  11. Tinned fish or halal tinned meat — 2–5 tins
  12. Peanut butter — 100–500 g, where locally suitable
  13. Dates — 100–500 g
  14. Onions — 1–2 kg
  15. Potatoes — 1–2 kg
  16. Tomatoes — 500 g–1 kg
  17. Soup mix — 100 g–1 kg
  18. Stock cubes or seasoning — 1 small pack
  19. Basic spices — small packs of turmeric, cumin or curry powder
  20. Bathing soap — 2–5 bars
